Clubs Guide

💡

Tip: Clubs and extracurriculars are a great way to get involved in the university. They provide a unique experience and get to immerse yourself in the community

There are various types of clubs

  • Professional Clubs - Host high-impact events that grow your network, build your resume, and develop industry-relevant skills (i.e. BizTech, nwPlus)

  • Social Clubs - Create fun, inclusive events to help students connect, relax, and build community (i.e. CVC, The Calendar)

  • Hobby Clubs - Explore personal interests and hobbies (i.e. Muay Thai Club, Climbing Club)

  • Engineering Design Teams - Collaborate on technical, often competitive projects that bring engineering concepts to life (i.e. Formula Electric, Biomod)

  • Undergraduate Societies - Think of your high school student council. It provides a voice for students (i.e. Commerce Undergraduate Society, Computer Science Student Society).
